Welcome to Akber Foundation

Pakistan is one of the poorest countries in the world and within Pakistan, Tharpakar is among the most poorest areas. Being part of the Thar Desert, this part of Pakistan has the highest number of people living drastically below the poverty line. Hunger and malnutrition due to severe water shortage, poor or non existent health facilities, hardly any education and poor infra-structure has created such a catastrophes that would sadden anybody’s heart and soul.

Affected by this gloomy picture, AKBER FOUNDATON was created in 2009 with the objective of not only feed the most desperate hungry people, but also to create hope among the people of thar by spreading quality education and better health facilities for the most neglected people.

Akber Foundation ultimate goal is to create good job opportunities in the area so people can honorably earn their livelihood and feel proud about themselves.

Ambulance donated by Akber Foundation
